How To Replace Lost KCPE/KCSE Certificate Online. The Kenya National Examinations Council(KNEC) is the body in Kenya responsible for administration of national exams. Once the exams are done, marked and results released, the body goes ahead to produce certificates for the candidates.
The certificates act as proof that the specific person went through education and did his or her examinations. In the month of March 2009, the examination body kicked off the policy of implementing certificate replacement.
The replacement of certificates was meant for those who could have lost them due to one reason or another. The replacements were backdated to favor those who did their examinations since the year 1981.
However, the exam body does not issue duplicate certificates. It just confirms the results which stand in for the damaged or lost certificates.
