KCSE Mean Grade C Plain Teachers Receive Good News From TSC. To solve the teacher shortage, the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) has disclosed intentions to transfer more primary school instructors to junior secondary schools.
Despite the commission receiving a new financial allocation, the second groups of PTE teachers in practice have not yet been assigned to junior high.
Teachers who submitted their applications by March 22, 2023 will have priority consideration for the second deployment.
Following the budget reading on Thursday of last week, TSC was given a budgetary allocation that would be utilized to advance these teachers as well as the around 14,000 tutors who have been in the same job group for years.
Before approving the deployment of a teacher to a school, TSC mandates that the Sub County Directors verify all paperwork.
The committee insisted that there be a category of elementary school instructors who can work at junior secondary schools.
