The Council has proposed new security measures to prevent cheating at this year’s national exam.
Examiners will no longer select all of the day’s examination papers in the morning.
Instead, centre managers, who are also school principals, will select only the morning publications.
Knec has purchased more containers in order to provide examination storage facilities in schools.
Under the new structure, this will reduce the time required to select and drop examination papers.
These are some of the new measures that will be implemented for national exams in one month.
After candidates finish the morning paper, they will be returned to the container while the afternoon papers are picked.
