KNEC New Deadline For 2024 KCSE & KPSEA Registration. The Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) has begun accepting registrations for the 2024 Kenya Primary School Assessment (KPSEA) and Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) exams.
On Thursday, February 1, the council informed school heads that the registration portals were now accessible.
Instructors are responsible for ensuring that all eligible candidates complete the registration process by the deadline of March 29, 2024.
KNEC emphasized the importance of timely KCSE and KPSEA registration and advised instructors to refrain from rushing at the last minute.
After the deadline, the council made it plain that there would be no more extensions.
To facilitate registration, the council has set up unique portals on the KNEC website for each school level.

“It is anticipated that every testing center will access a particular exam platform and input the candidates’ information by utilizing the password from their school registration,” the council stated.
The announcement was made on January 19, the day the 2023 KPSEA results were released to the public.
Education Cabinet Secretary Ezekiel Machagu gave instructors instructions to permit children to enroll in Junior Secondary Schools (JSS) prior to the results.
The 2023 grade 6 students are the first class to take the KPSEA examinations and move up to grade 7 in the Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC).
Due to doubts about the authenticity of the 2023 KCSE exam results, a community project named Operation Linda Jamii filed a lawsuit against KNEC.
The group pointed out irregularities in the Oruba Boys High School results, where every student scored a D with a fluctuation of 1-2 points, and questioned how the results were tallied.
