Abuga Makori criticized this action, deeming it not only inappropriate but also criminal. He called upon the Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) and the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) to reconsider their screening methods, emphasizing that such practices induce panic among the students.
Makori’s statement strongly condemns the alleged mistreatment of KCSE students in Nyamira and Kisii Counties, urging KNEC to cease what he perceives as harassment.
The call extends to both the Exam body and TSC, holding them accountable for actions that create undue stress for students during the crucial examination period.
