Due to suggestions from college administrations and other education stakeholders, the Ministry of Education has postponed the transfer of principals across all Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) institutions in the nation.
Despite getting a letter of deployment to oversee another institution, the principle of one of the institutions affirmed that he is still in that post.
Prior to this, the State Department of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) issued letters of deployment to the heads of the top national polytechnics and county/sub-county level Technical Vocational Colleges (TVC).

Prior rumors said that Catherine Kelonye was going to move from her position as Principal of Kabete National Polytechnic, Okumu Odhiambo, to Kisumu National Polytechnic to take over Michael Musuya’s position at Friends College Kaimosi after he allegedly left his job.
At Kabete National Polytechnic, Patrick Muchemi, who headed Mukurweni TTI in Nyeri County, was supposed to succeed Okumu.
There were rumors that a vice principal might take Muchemi’s post at Kipkabus TTI.
Charles Koech, the president of Eldoret National Polytechnic, would take over Dr. Rosebella Chukwu’s prior position at the Sang’alo Institute of Science and Technology in Bungoma County.
The measures were utterly unexpected because comparable exercises are generally held during the summer by the Ministry’s Directorate of Technical and Vocational Education.
