TSC Reviews Transfer Rules For Teachers. The guidelines for teacher transfers have finally been reviewed by the Teachers Service Commission (TSC). The present transfer activity, which aims to ensure that there are adequate teachers in schools across the nation, is being conducted in tandem with this.
Previously, instructors could not transfer unless they had served at their existing positions for at least five years.
The continual transfers had an impact on several teachers with less than five years of experience. This was carried out to guarantee that each state had roughly the same number of teachers.
According to TSC Circular 2022, the Commission considered allowing instructors who had held jobs for at least three years prior to their initial position to petition for transfers.
The “delocalization policy” forced teachers to work outside of their home counties in January 2018. There would be numerous migrations between the months of April and August of the same year.
Prior to this time, the transfer policy did not account for the families of instructors. Married teachers were frequently dispatched to remote locations, making it difficult for families to come together outside of the Christmas season.

On July 13, 2021, a new Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) for the years 2021–2025 was reached, giving teachers hope that they could be able to reunite with their families while still working.
Simply put, this meant that if there were openings in the indicated stations, teachers could be transferred to schools near to their spouses.
The demands of married teachers who were transferred to distant stations were no longer taken into account by the transfer policy over time. The only time families could come together was around the holidays because it was hard for families to live together.
As a result, teachers could potentially be transferred to institutions close to their romantic relationships. This would depend on the need for a quality replacement, how many open positions there are at the indicated stations, and the requirement for an equitable distribution.
